Application procedure

Applications for Writing for Feature Films (Standard) Courses

Who can apply?
Applications are invited from anyone who has a seed idea for a feature-length script, from relative beginners to writers who have had scripts produced or optioned.

What do I need to send?
Applicants need to send a completed application form, a one-page synopsis (outline) for a screenplay, a one or two page scene and an equal opportunities monitoring form.

When will I know if I've been successful?
All applications are assessed. All applicants will be informed of our decision about 10 days after the application deadline.

 

Applications for Writing for Feature Films (Advanced) Courses

Who can apply?
Applications are invited from anyone who has a treatment or a first-draft script for a feature film.

What do I need to send?
Applicants need to send a completed application form, a one-page synopsis (outline) for a screenplay, a one or two page scene, a 10-page treatment or first draft and an equal opportunities monitoring form.

When will I know if I've been successful?
All applications are assessed. All applicants will be informed of our decision about 10 days after the application deadline.

 

Registration for Writing for Feature Film - Summer Course (Standard)

Who can apply?
Anyone who is interested in writing a script for a feature film.

What do I need to send?

A completed registration form, a one-page synopsis (outline) for a screenplay and an equal opportunities monitoring form.

When will I know if I've been successful?
Candidates are chosen on a first-come first-served basis. We will inform candidates within 2 days of receiving their registration form.

 

Registration for Writing for Soaps / Writing for 60-Minutes TV drama series

Who can apply?
Anyone who is interested in writing for TV.

What do I need to send?

A completed application form and an equal opportunities monitoring form.

When will I know if I've been successful?
Candidates are chosen on a first-come first-served basis. We will inform candidates within 2 days of receiving their registration form.

 

Registration for Marketing Your Script - standard workshop

Who can apply?
Anyone who is interested in marketing a feature length script.

What do I need to send?

A completed registration form and an equal opportunities monitoring form.

When will I know if I've been successful?
Candidates are chosen on a first-come first-served basis. We will inform candidates within 2 days of receiving their registration form.

 

Application for Bridging the Gap to the Market - advanced workshop

Who can apply?
Screenwriters who have experience in short film or TV or who have completed screenwriting training programmes. All candidates should have a draft of a feature length script.

What do I need to send?

A completed application form, a one-page synopsis (outline) for a screenplay and an equal opportunities monitoring form.

When will I know if I've been successful?
All applications are assessed. All applicants will be informed of our decision about 10 days after the application deadline.
